At BRÛZE, you can study, meet, and experience life. Here you can connect with fellow students and the neighborhood.

BRÛZE is the vibrant hub of campus! Daytime and evenings, you can enjoy a drink, a friendly chat, or participate in an activity.

For our international students who live in the apartment complexes next to BRÛZE, this is also a great place to meet in the evening.

Here, we also connect with the neighborhood. Several projects are underway. For example, every first Tuesday of the month, the "city canteen" comes to BRÛZE to cook for people who are less fortunate. You can enjoy a three-course dinner for €8, cooked by people with disabilities. You can also buy a meal for someone else. A great example of our Frisian community.

We also occasionally offer a space for our elderly neighbors from Hofwijck, as a community center with events like a Christmas market. We have a neighborhood refrigerator, a "refood factory." If you have anything left over or could use something, you can bring it here or pick it up. This is to help each other and prevent food waste. All projects are also organized with, for, and by students.
